How Can You Pay for School?

Wake Forest University quotes its program at a total cost of $51,084, with an addition $750 for activity and health services fees. That’s admittedly a lot of money for a program that lasts one year, but the school does award more than $70,000 in compensation to deserving students, so it’s well worth checking with their financial aid office to find out more about scholarships and grants.

It’s also smart to check with other scholarship sources, as you can get free money (you never have to pay it back) for a number of reasons. These range from religious affiliation to ethnicity to charity work and more. Once you have exhausted all potential scholarship sources, apply for financial aid through the FAFSA.

Why Wake Forest University?

Not many universities can brag that they produce 100 percent employment results for their students, this according to 2018 numbers. That’s right: Every single member of the graduating class of 2018 was hired within 6 months, so if your main concern is to pay back those student loans and immediately start saving for the future, Wake Forest is an excellent place to achieve that goal.

As noted above, the school hands out a number of scholarships every year. They also participate in the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement campaign, “which helps veterans and eligible dependents pay the cost of tuition. The School of Business Enrollment Management Center administers the program and funds are available for Wake Forest graduate business programs including MBA, MSA and MSM degrees. The Yellow Ribbon campaign is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and provides matching scholarship funds to honor military service for those serving post 9/11.”

Wake Forest also comes off well in US News & World Report rankings. It placed No. 27 for national universities and No. 24 for best value, both of which should tell you a lot about the quality of the education and the “money’s worth” factor of attendance.
